Harold W. Gardner
President and CEO
Principal of Gareste Limitada (Chile) and interim CEO of Zoro Mining, Mr. Gardner has been involved in the private mining sector for the past 26 years. He has extensive experience in exploration and acquisition of precious and base metals prospects in Chile, Region III. Gareste is the largest private concession holder in the region. Mr. Gardner has served as a consultant, officer, and director of 17 different mining companies and private investment funds, and currently sits on the board of four companies in Mexico, Peru, and Chile. Mr. Gardner is a resident of Copiapó, Chile, with extensive knowledge of Chile, Peru and the region.
David Hackman, PhD
Vice President of Exploration
Dr. Hackman is a geologist and a registered professional engineer with over 35 years of international experience specializing in the evaluation of leachable metal deposits in the Americas. Widely credited with the discovery of several important mineral deposits, including the Piedras Verdes copper oxide mine in Sonora, Mexico, Dr. Hackman holds or has held senior geological and director positions with a host of public and private companies with operations in Latin America.
Enrique Marino
Chief of Exploration
A professional geologist with over 45 years of direct experience in Chile, Mr. Marino has worked for a number of different mining companies, principally for Phelps Dodge Corp. (now Freeport) at the large Candelaria copper operation near Copiapó, Chile, where he was the Chief Exploration Geologist.
Frank Garcia
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Garcia has over 20 years of experience in senior financial management with international companies and currently provides accounting services to several mining exploration companies. Prior to joining Zoro, Mr. Garcia served as VP of Administration for the US division of CEMEX – a Mexico-based global leader in construction materials and aggregates mining. He has also served as Director of Finance for a division of Misys plc, a British software firm and a world leader in banking and healthcare computing. Mr. Garcia holds a BSBA in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
